Knick Nation is Saying Hello to Melo

The drama with Carmelo Anthony and where is he being traded to is finally over as the New York Knicks agreed to a trade with the Denver Nuggets.

The Knicks gave up Raymond Felton, Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov, 2014 first-round pick and two second-round picks, which is a lot. However, in exchange they get Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Renaldo Balkman, and Anthony Carter.

The Knicks will also send Eddy Curry and Anthony Randolph to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Corey Brewer as part of the three-team trade.

I know the Knicks may have given up more then they wanted, thanks to the Nets, but I believe in the long run they will benefit from the trade. The Knicks were able to keep outstanding rookie Landry Fields on the team as he will be an intrical part of the team. also, Spike Lee's wardrobe is saved as he only wears Fields jersey to Knick games.

The Knicks now have two superstars, and in the 2012 free agency, they will be trying to attract one more to come over and build a big three in N.Y.C. Can you say Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, Deron Williams to the Knicks in the future. I could see it.
