Reports are coming out today from New Jersey that the Nets and Denver Nuggets have reached a tentative agreement on a trade for Carmelo Anthony. The only thing holding up the deal is Anthony's agreement to the trade and signature on the three year 65 million dollar contract extension.
Another report came out from ESPN's Ric Bucher that Anthony said he will accept the trade to the Nets if the Knicks are unable to make a deal.
Now to James Dolan, Knicks Owner, what is wrong with you? He is a New York native, one of the most dynamic versatile scorers in the NBA. He is stalling all this time so he can hopefully play where he wants to, New York. As a Knick fan, the Knicks have been disgraceful for the past decade. How can Dolan pass up on this. We need another dynamic player to compliment Amare.
If Carmelo Anthony is not a Knick by the trading deadline, Feb 24, this may be one of the worst decisions Dolan has made as an owner. He has made a lot of dumb decisions too, paying Eddy Curry way too much, along with Alan Houston, hiring Isiah Thomas, and I think Mike D'Antoni as a head coach is another bad decision as well.
Don't screw it up Dolan, Knick nation will be mad!!!! Dolan should meet with Spike Lee, so he can speak some sense into him.
